Utterly Butterly Delicious

The Bubbly Girl
Amul(derived from the Sanskrit word, "Amulya" which means priceless) has always been synonymous with the little pony tail bubbly girl wearing a dotted dress. All of us would have met the little girl at a traffic light or a street corner or at the top of a road side shop and would have smiled at her or have discussed about the new punchlines with friends and family. This is an advertisement campaign which has shown us the sense of humor in daily life topics like politics, national affairs, private affairs.
A girl who is much popular to Aishwarya Rai or Katrina Kaif. And this has made the little girl a place in the heart of millions of Indian. A girl who is more popular then Laxman's "common man".

As a kid i use to collect all the amul cartoons, and kept them safely. I use to wait  for my mom to get another butter pack next month, sometime we use to choose a butter packet by seeing the cartoon in the back of the packet. We never use to bring the same cartoons that i already had in my collection, that was the craze in my child hood i had for this pony tail girl. Like me this girl was the best friend to many kids.

For 40 to 45 years, the butterly and cute girl has ruled our heart. Launched in 1966 by the creative combine of K Kurain, Eustace Fernandes, Sylverster Da Cunha and Usha Katrak of Advertising and Sales Promotion Company, this bubbly girl mascot has adorned posters, hoardings, newspapers.Initially, the campaigns used to be hand painted(as was the case in those days). But with the advancement of technology and high quality image building tools taking over the past few years, the bubbly girl has transformed into a much more crisp and colourful image. And it is the same advertising agency, later named to Da Cunha Communications, that has been associated with the campaign ever since.

One can compare the Amul girl with the thoughts of a common Indian on current happenings in Inidia and the world, the bubbly girl has always presented us the fun side of life. Put us a smile in our face.

From SRK six pack to "nano ya na Manno" the girl is always ready to give a butter into our live.

MMS SCANDALS-WHERE IT WILL END

Time has always proved us that the misuse of technology leads to destruction. The latest in the list is the MMS, some years back when police has busted the iitian and e-business group of buying a CD which contains some obscene video of a school girl has shocked India what the youth of this country are up to, where their thoughts are going to,it is shame for me as I am a youth too.

The mental level of such people has changed so much that rather than appreciating the beauty of the technology and using it for the betterment of the mankind, they found a away to misuse it. Ironically it has been always a tendency in every individual to misuse a thing first.

Following years these scandals and rackets raised to their pick level where every day a new scandal came to picture. And off course the media, which always highlighted and publicized such unlawful activity to the mass in their prime-time news, even they moved one step further they organized debate, sensationalizing and popularizing the evil event which benefited the doers of evil deeds. At least they got free publicity with out paying anybody.

Today the teens, the young even the people at their late age are so much knowledgeable about this mms concept that they know more about this but they do not know who is the president of India is. The worst affected of such evil events are the film fraternity where each day by the morphing technology or by some look alike models they have brought new scandals. As a result they were victimized and eventually paid the price of being a celebrity. The worst part the dignity and purity of being a women paid the price.

You name any actress and actor you find a sex scandal featuring them. A survey from Google the biggest search in world has published their survey few years back which has shown the real face of our cultured society, would you believe the most surfing word in Google from india was "sex scandals".

In India people are so desperate that they are ready to pay any price to see their dream girls and picture them in such compromising positions. This racket industry which was was initially a bud has grown to a full fledged flower thanks to the demand and supply rule of management guru's.The worst part of such thing is that it cannot be stopped. Whom should we blame, the law, the police, the society or the individual ?

In country like India where initially has so much problem has got no time for such issues. Even if it has got time for such issue it is not possible to tackle it because first the cyber law is not so strong or mature enough to tackle such menace of the society and even if we had a law practically it would not be possible to stop the spreading of such things among the youths or to catch those eunuch who make such things or those spoilt brat who get this and spread it.

The Youngistaan generation relates such activity with word "cool", i feel really pity on such group that they really don't understand the term "cool". Parents and the literate people of our society are either not aware or they don't care what their children are up to.

These people who are involved in such heinous crime need a serious counseling and psychological treatment to understand the cause rather booking them behind the bars, this network is a spider web where the youth of the country are getting caught daily like flies.

The only question is who are promoting such sinful crimes, the people living in the society. The basic consciousness and the morality level of each individual can stop this; there was a time where morality in individual was so high that a person can easily identify the good and the bad but now that morality is fading away it is diminishing day by day like a burning candle from us from society. There was some serious attempt to show the aftermath of such scandals and the apathetic society in Bollywood through film but such good film goes off the screen unappreciated and unnoticed.

People like me and many others are still waiting for the dawn where we hope to see the ray of morality in every young India to build a fresh India.
